Das DAfStb-Heft 555 „Erläuterungen zur DAfStb-Richtlinie Wasserundurchlässige Bauwerke aus Beton" enthält wichtige Hintergrundinformationen zur Anwendung der gleichnamigen Richtlinie des DAfStb. Während der Erarbeitung der Richtlinie wurde beschlossen, viele Informationen in diesen Erläuterungen zu veröffentlichen, um die Darstellung der technischen Regelungen der Richtlinie nicht zu überfrachten. Der Sinn einiger Regelungen wird dem Anwender jedoch nur durch weitergehende Informationen verständlich. Für eine korrekte Anwendung und Umsetzung der Richtlinie ist die Zuhilfenahme der Erläuterungen unerlässlich.%DAfStb (German committee for reinforced concrete) issue 555 entitled "Explanations on the DAfStb Guideline on water impermeable concrete structures" contains important background information on the application of DAfStb's guideline of the same name . In the course of drawing up the guideline, it was decided to publish a great deal of data in these explanations so as not to overload the description of the technical rules of this guideline. However, the user can only grasp the meaning of some of the rules through further reference. It is absolutely imperative that correct application and implementation of the guideline goes hand in hand with referencing the explanations.
