DONATED MATERIALS HELP TRAIN SEARCH- AND-RESCUE DOGS

Hanson Pipe & Precast has donated 259 tons of large-diameter concrete pipe and box culverts for new training areas being developed for the Glendale Regional Public Safety Training Center. The products from Hanson Pipe & Precast's El Mirage, AZ, facility will be used in a dynamic debris field specifically designed to train search-and-rescue dogs in hazardous situations. The goal of the facility is to train search-and-rescue dogs from throughout the state and eventually become a National K-9 Search-and-Rescue Certification site. The field will also be used for technical rescue training by creating three safe zones for trench rescue.
