GA and Zim team up on more routes

Israeli shipping line Zim Line has teamed up with Grand Alliance (GA) members Hapag-Lloyd, NYK Line, Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) to co-operate on their South China East Coast Express (SCE) service, which operates between South China and the US East Coast via the Panama canal. This agreement follows the termination of GA's co-operation with The New World Alliance (TNWA) on this service, which had lasted for 18 months. The joint operation was expected to take effect in April, subject to filing with the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC).
