摘要

One of the most outstanding challenges of the 21st century societies is to evolve from an information society to an effective knowledge society. This will unavoidably imply a technological bet for supporting interdisciplinary and multicultural approaches for troubleshooting, as well as the development of new interaction environments for learning, creating and sharing knowledge. Consequently, there is a need to transit to an open society, perceived as a space where both knowledge and technology could interoperate transparently. In this way tools, processes and resources could be reachable for both citizens and entities to a more reasonable cost and usefulness, in a context where the demand of new services and knowledge is continuously being increased. Concepts like Open Innovation, Open Science, Open Contents, Open Software and Open Education (Garcia-Penalvo, Garcia de Figuerola,& Merlo, 2010), among others, are nowadays present in the fields of Education and Learning, Information and Communication, Technology, Health, Economics, etc.
