The following are examples of "standard" provisions that can be used in intellectual property license agreements. But these paragraphs are hardly boilerplate. Careful consideration of each provision and its impact on likely disputes between the parties is crucial to good drafting practice. These boilerplate provisions are often outcome determinative of any dispute, and certainly the economics and timing of a dispute, that arises between the parties.
