SIGCOMM 2013 General Chairs' Welcome

Welcome to ACM SIGCOMM 2013 in Hong Kong! As in previous years, SIGCOMM is a weeklong series of research events: the main conference, plus 6 workshops and 5 tutorials on current topics in networking. Hong Kong is a relatively expensive city. We chose to hold this year's events at the campus of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Although it is off the center of the city, it is a more academic setting, still conveniently connected to city center by public transportation, and it allows us to even reduce the conference registration fees to a new low level. We like to thank the university for giving considerable support to our conference.
