On-orbit measurement of phased array in satellite by rotating element electric field vector method

This paper presents results on the measurement of excitation amplitude and phase of each an- tenna element of phased arrays for satellites in orbit using the rotating element electric field vector method (REV method). It is not necessary for this method to measure phase directly. Consequently, the REV method is suited to measuring phased arrays in orbit where it is diffi- cult to measure phase directly.
