Elddis gives thumbs-up to Mercedes MirrorCam

Elddis Transport MD Nigel Cook has praised Mercedes-Benz's MirrorCam system after taking delivery of five of the UK's first Actros 5 6×2 tractor units fitted with the traditional mirror replacement. The company is running three 2545 450hp models and two 476hp Actros 2548 variants, all of which have BigSpace cabs. It opted for this variation to compare efficiency and performance figures, though the 2545 has up to now been Elddis' preferred choice, after more than 20 years of operating Mercedes trucks.
