The role of ICT In fashion design & textile education sector

ICT is an acronym that stands for “Information Communication Technologies”.The purpose of this paper is tofindout how IC T applications are helpful and important in the field of fashion,design &c technology education.The aimto draw evidences regarding the advantages ana benefits of IC1 in N IFT education system.It seeks to measure theimpact of IC T on students* outcomes.The study also tried to establish a link between the use of IC T and students'creatdvity on Computer Aided Design (CAD) technology.Information and Communication Technologies haverecently gained a groundswell or interest.Their nature has highly changed the face of education over the last fewdecades.However,very few have acnieved progress.Indeed,a small percentage of N IFT Centre in Kangra is beingachieved high levels of effective use of ICT to support and change the teaching and learning process in many subjectareas.
