With a broad topic like 1956 cars profiled in this issue, it's guaranteed to dominate this column. So that they don't get steamrolled by the sheer weight of numbers, let's first consider the other subjects before plunging into the deep pool of '56 scale models. The 1982-92 Chevrolet Camaros were rendered as 1/25-scale plastic promotionals. MPC was the manufacturer until its purchase by Ertl; from 1989, these were then considered Ertl products. Through 1986 and again in 1992, the version depicted was the Z28. The IROC-Z was modeled from 1987 to 1991.
