If there is a lesson that can be taken away from the stories in this issue, it's that even when things seem to be going well they can be going bad at the same time. Sometimes the apparent success of an individual product, a company, or even the entire automotive industry can mask problems that may come to a head later on, the two opposing forces coexisting-for a time, at least-in stasis.
