Teach the Children Well

It's certainly important to remember that a percentage of your future customer base is already visiting your store. Many storeowners forget that children of their regular customers are the crafters (and customers) of tomorrow. With that in mind, it's hard to imagine why any store would elect to not hold classes for children. With the right plan and the right instructor, any store can successfully execute a class for children. If you need a teacher, you might have one among your sales staff, your teacher's list, scout leaders or church groups. Or advertise in your newsletter, class schedule or on your Web page.
