REG LAUDS BIODIESEL'S ROLE IN FOOD SUPPLY CHAIN

Renewable Energy Group (REG), a biodiesel producer and marketer based in Ames, lowa, has released a white paper extolling the virtues of biodiesel in the food supply chain. The report, Food THEN Fuel: American Biodiesel's Role in Strengthening Food Security, concludes that biodiesel has proven itself and is an excellent example of how the Renewable Fuel Standard, developed by the United States (U.S.) Environmental Protection Agency, is working as it was intended.
