WESTPORT INNOVATIONS PARTNERS WITH KNAPHEIDE ON BIFUEL TRUCKS

Westport Innovations Inc., a developer of advanced natural gas engines based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and Knapheide Manufacturing Company, a commercial vehicle body manufacturer, have announced an agreement that will set a new standard in the delivery of natural gas work trucks. The announcement was made at the 2013 NTEA Work Truck Show held in Indianapolis, Indiana, in March. The two market leaders are combining their expertise to engineer custom vehicle bodies for the Westport powered Ford F-250 and F-350 bifuel Super Duty trucks.
