欠陥検出機における紙粉フィルターの実装: 家庭紙用抄紙機•加工機における欠陥検出

In the household paper industry, quality control requirements are growing more stringent each year as products continue to be closely scrutinized by clients. The ongoing need to maintain a high level of quality in domestic products is accentuated by the cheaply-priced imported paper now cutting into the domestic market. We also need to reduce costs at the same time as improving quality, but web breaks (which are caused by holes and other defects) are largely linked to losses in productivity. Improvement of product quality and productivity depends heavily on defect detectors, which are standard in paper and paperboard manufacturing. However, currently almost no defect detectors are installed in tissue manufacturing. This is primarily because the areas surrounding tissue machines and converters are subject to great quantities of scattered paper dust. The traditional line scan detectors mistake this paper dust as defects, resulting in frequent false-detection errors. In this report, I will introduce the Canadian company, Papertech's WebInspector™ web inspection, which has achieved error-free detection for tissue machines and converters installed with paper dust filters, and in recent years has greatly boosted results for defect detectors, including a web break monitor, for tissue product manufacturing.%家庭紙業界においては，製品が常に顧客の目にさらされ続けられていることから，その品質管理が年々厳しくなっている.また価格の安い輸入紙が国内市場を侵食していることからも，国内製品は高い品質を維持し続ける必要がある.そのうえ，品質の向上とともにコスト削減も求められるところであるが，穴欠陥などに起因する断紙が生産性の低下につながっている.
