A bit like Ireland's recent performance in the Cricket World Cup, some high points and some low points regarding the state of play in Ireland's waste to energy (WtE) market over the last year (obviously beating England was a high point, apologies to all of my English colleagues!). Indaver Ireland is currently commissioning its 200000 tonne pa moving grate WtE plant for municipal solid waste (MSW). The plant is just outside Duleek in County Meath, approximately 30km north of Dublin Airport, and is the first WtE plant for MSW to be built in the country.
