Cardiff EfW Plant Scrutiny

A judge has ordered Cardiff Council to reveal how Viridor's Cardiff energy from waste plant can be categorised as a "recovery" installation - eligible for more than £100m of Welsh Government subsidy - instead of a "disposal" operation after campaigners questioned the efficiency status of the plant. The Council must now reveal the information, which Friends of the Earth Cymru first requested back in June 2013.
