You have to hand it to "SupaTrak Kate (STK)": when it comes to organising a cracking event related to waste and recycling operations she, and indeed the whole SupaTrak team and associated "OWL" group members, put on one of the best forums for debate and networking in our industry. Having a mix of operators from both public sector in-house fleets and commercial contractors in itself should help promote lively debate. But adding some of the top vehicle manufacturers and what we might call "special equipment partners" (on-board weighing, safety and fleet management systems) to the mix is exactly what Optimised Waste Logistics (OWL) is all about.
