Coffey leaves Defra for work and pensions

Therese Coffey MP has left her role at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), to replace Amber Rudd, who resigned as Secretary of State for Work and Pensions on 7 September. Taunton Deane MP Rebecca Pow has been appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at Defra. She was previously a Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport between 23 May and 10 September 2019.
