To improve the quality and reliability of its water supply, the City of Oxnard, California, has developed an approach to water management that seeksrnto make greater use of local resources and to do so in a sustainable way.rnBy creating facilities to treat local brackish groundwater, the city is reducing its dependence on costly and potentially unreliable sources of imported water.
