Reach Out Today for a Better Profess ion Tomorrow

摘要

F the many outreach activities in which ASCE members are engaged, none are more important-or more rewarding-than those that involve championing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education at the K-12, or precollege, level. The ASCE Pre-College Outreach initiative supports member volunteers who are reaching out to give students, teachers, and the general public a better understanding of the important roles that civil engineers play around the world and of the challenges and rewards inherent in a career in civil engineering.
