The Del-Mar Electronics Show: A Low Cost Alternative Venue

With little fanfare, the latest Del Mar Electronics show― and now the new MedCon, bio tech and medical show― were held at the Del-Mar fairgrounds just north of San Diego, California in late April. The show was larger this year, growing to about 450 booths, approximately 30 more than last year. The co-located MedCon show plans to grow significantly over the next few years by remaining a regional low cost way for suppliers and distributors to show their wares. Everything for the OEM was on display from chassis to power supplies and batteries, from wire and cable to LED displays, from discrete components and switches to semiconductors and from test equipment to PWB and chemistry.
