It's Expo Time Again!

Whoopee! Here we go again. It's Expo time in Southern California, and all is well. I like thinking about this trip as we just got dumped on by about two feet of snow for our first big snowfall of the year here in New England, and the Patriots won yesterday's "Snow Bowl." In CircuiTree's January issue, Walt Custer says things are looking good, so we can take it as a given that we are on the roll again. The best thing about Expo this year is its co-location with APEX. Let's face it, the last few years at Expo have been pretty dismal. Last year's back to back nature of the two conferences was not a very successful staging either as I could not afford to spend two weeks in Southern Cal, so I chose to attend Expo rather than APEX, and I have wondered many times whether the decision was correct or not from a business point of view. It is always fun to hook up with old friends and acquaintances if nothing else. Anyway, no worries this year as the shows are running together. On one hand, I am not sure I like the early (February) date as much as one later in the Spring, but on the other hand it is pretty cold here in New England in February, so I guess I'll take it. I think it will be a very successful event all the way around.
