Hla-a 02 Subtype Distribution of Han Nationality in Northern China

HLA-A2 was one of the first HLA-A alleles to be dis - covered by serologic method and the most common phenotype found in human being with a frequency of 17/100 ～44/100 in various ethnic groups. To date, it is the most heterogenous HLA-A2 specificity with over twenty-five subtypes de - Scribed, these subtypes cannot be discriminated by serolo - Gy. Our study used a PCR-SSOP method, involving a single HLA-A 02 allele - epecific PCR, followed by dot blot analy - Sis using digoxigenin labeled probes.
