PROCEEDINGS OF THE THIRD INTERNATIONAL MEETING OF TROPICAL MEDICINE AND PARASITOLOGY, KUNMING, YUNNAN PROVINCE, CHINA

摘要

The Third International Meeting of Tropical Medicine and Parasitology organized by the Society of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases, Chinese Medical Association was held on April 8-10, 1994 in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China. 178 participants from mainland China, 5 from Taiwan, China and 24 from 16 countries attended the meeting. The president of the XVI International Congress of Tropical Medicine and Malaria, Prof, and Dr. Keizo Matsumoto was invited to attend the meeting. He offered a warm congratulatory speech at the openning ceremony. During this assembly, the Society of Tropical Medicine and Parasitology, Chinese Medical Association was established and its first session of executive council was formed, which will certainly promote the international academic communication and collaboration with those relevant foreign organizations and institutions.
