China's Largest Integrated Oil Refining & Chemical JV Project Officially Launched

On July 8th, 2005,China's largest integrated oil refining and chemical joint-venture project was officially launched in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, indicating that another petrochemical base is growing up following Sinopec Qilu Petrochemical Company, Sinopec Beijing Yanhua Petrochemical Co. Ltd, Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Co. Ltd., Sinopec Jinling Company and Sinopec Yangtze Petrochemical Co. Ltd. This project will be completed and put into operation at the end of 2008.The ministries of the State related, Saudi Arabian Government, Saudi Arabian Aramco, ExxonMobil, Sinopec, and the relevant personages in Fujian Province and Quanzhou City were present on the Commencement Ceremony.
