摘要

An efficient preparation of the new polymeric gallium imide {Ga(NH)_(3/2)}_n from the reactions between [Ga(NMe_2)_3]_2 and NH_3 at ambient temperatures was described. The gallium imide precursor was shown to yield upon pyrolysis a rare cubic/hexagonal variety of GaN. Some control of the average particle size of GaN in the nanosized region was achieved by application of various pyrolysis schemes.
