GPCA Holds First Annual Supply Chain Forum

GPCA held its first Supply Chain Forum on Oct 13, 2009 to Oct 14, 2009 at the Gulf Hotel in Bahrain. The event addressed key supply chain challenges face by the Gulf petrochemicals and chemical industry and south to achieve higher industry standards by facilitating knowledge, expertise and best practices. The forum will benefit a wide range of organizations including petchem and chemical companies, supply chain providers, storage and packaging companies and government authorities such as ministers, ports, free zones, and terminal operators, said Abdulwahab Al-Sadoun, GPCA secretary general. Abdulaziz Al-Bati, chairman of GPCA's supply chain committee, also spoke at the opening session and described the forum as milestones for the regional industry.
