Prelininary study on destruction of Freon 12 by inductively coupled plasma -development of ICP technology for waste destruction

摘要

Hazardous wastes are defined as those wastes that may cause adverse of chronic effects on human health or the environment. The effective management of the hazardous wastes is an issue which has attracted increasing attention~[1]. Incineration is the most common method for treating hazardous wastes. The ma- jor drawback of conventional incineration methods is the secondary emission of air toxins because of the incomplete destruction of refractory waste materials such as PCBs.
