摘要

A blossom-shaped tetranuclear zinc cluster [ Zn_4 (μ_4-O) (tzdt)_6 ] was synthesized from the reaction of tzdtH with Zn ( NO_3 )_2 under mild conditions for the first time. The speed of volatilization of Et_3 N in the reaction is a key point for synthesizing the tetranuclear complex. Four zinc atoms were bridged by μ_4-O to form a Zn4O core. Six tzdtH ligands enwrap a Zn4O core by means of coordination bonds to result in a novel blossom structure. The four zinc atoms belong to four different types of crystallographic zinc atoms because each zinc atom is bonded to different atoms although all the bonds have the same coordination architecture. The characteristics of [ Zn_4 (μ_4-O) ( tzdt)_6 ] , such as fluorescence, are being studied at present.
