Recent Progress of Thioester Method

摘要

A thiol linker-attached peptide was successfully prepared from a non-protected peptide by periodate oxidation of the N-terminal serine residue, followed by reductive animation. After condensation with a peptide thioester, the thiollinker could be removed by treatment with an acid, such as TFMSA.
