摘要

Two approaches to mathematical modeling of the working processes of a new design, a bicylindrical spur gear pump, are considered. The first approach is based on Bernoulli's equation, Hooke's law, and the laws of conservation of mass, energy, and the dynamics of motion. The k-ε model of turbulence is used in the second approach to model the working processes of the pump. A comparison of the use of the two approaches is conducted. A dependence of the instantaneous delivery of the pump on the rotation angle of the rotors is established.
