摘要

Separation of noble-gas isotope mixtures by low-temperature adsorption was considered. The proposed conceptual diagram of an experimental pressure-swing adsorption unit included a vacuum-insulated vessel for maintaining cryogenic temperatures, temperature- and pressure-control systems, and vacuum equipment. The directions of applied research performed on the unit were defined. Experimental methodology for studying activated carbon adsorbents and adsorption parameters was proposed. The gasmixture isotopic composition was monitored by mass spectrometry during the adsorption.
