New developments by heated godet rolls

In the last 2 years Retech AG, Meisterschwanden/Switzerland, has extended its heated godet roll product program and standardized at the same time. On the one hand the number of heated godet roll variants was reduced to 3 main sizes. Based on the proven Energy Saving Motor (ESM) concept with permanent synchronous magnetic technology, there are now 3 main sizes of motor, which are available in different performance classes according to application and process. For these types of motor there are different roll sizes (o 100 + 127 mm for the small class of motor, o 160 mm for the middle class and o 190 mm or 220 mm for the large motors. In addition to these there are different roll diameters in various lengths, equally coordinated with the process and the customers' requirements.
