摘要

Metastable orthorhombic phase of AgInS_2 nanocrystals with various shapes, including particles, rods, and worms, have been obtained to demonstrate a facile and effective one-pot chemical route for the synthesis of high quality I-III-VI_2 ternary semiconductor nanocrystals (AgInS_2, CuInS_2, AgInSe_2) with controllable shape and size.rnIn recent years, the controllable synthesis of nanostructural materials has remained of great interest due to their unique chemical and physical properties, which are different from those of their bulk counterparts, and potential applications in various areas. I-lII-VI_2-type chalcogenides, as ternary semiconductors which offer alternatives for appropriate band-gap energies, have been the focus of much recent research because of their excellent optical and electrical properties and important applications in linear and nonlinear optical devices and photovoltaic solar cells.
