摘要

A novel alkyl chain-functionalized manganese complex with dioxolene ligands shows a bimodal three-membered valence tautomerism, one of which synchronizes with a cooperative solid-melt phase transition and the other occurs in the melt noncooperatively.rnRecent challenges involving supramolecular materials constructed from bistable molecules that respond to heat, light, and electric fields have included the introduction of cooperative interactions between the molecules through supramolecular synthons, particularly in the solid phases.
