摘要

The charge of the upper rim has influences on the binding properties of cavitands in aqueous media.Resorcinarene based cavitands have been extensively studied since their first introduction by Cram et al.in 1982.Since their initial development,modifications have been made to the walls and upper rim,and these changes have altered their guest binding properties.
