In recent years, college students, professors, and legislators from around the country have increasingly questioned the pricing practices of college textbook publishers. Many college students today have yearly textbook bills of $800-$900. The college textbook industry makes a good case study of economic principles. But is there something that can be done? Two economists present the problems and a few solutions.
