Die Dyckerhoff AG ist als Zementhersteller die Nr. 1 in Deutschland, die Nr. 5 in Europa und die Nr. 10 weltweit. Der Gesamtumsatz des Dyckerhoff-Konzerns stieg 1999 um 24% auf ca. 4,3 Mrd. DM. Davon entfielen ca. 1,3 Mrd. DM auf den Bereich Zement Deutschland, ca. 836 Mio. DM auf den Bereich Zement International, ca. 1,3 Mrd. DM auf den Bereich Beton und ca. 835 Mio. DM auf den Bereich Ausbauprodukte. Das operative Ergebnis erhöhte sich ebenfalls um 24 % auf 725 Mio. DM; der Jahresüberschuss wuchs sogar um 51 % auf 2 6 8 Mio. DM. Als Folge der guten Ertragsentwicklung soll die Dividende um 17% auf 0,90 heraufgesetzt werden. Einen wichtigen Schlüssel zum zukünftigen Erfolg sieht der Konzern unvermindert in der Internationalisierung und Expansion: 1999 wurden bereits 46 % des Umsatzes im Ausland realisiert. Operating profits also increased by 24 % to DM 725 million; with annual net profit actually increasing by 51 % to DM 268 million. The dividend is to be increased by 17 % to 0.90 as a result of the good profit figures. The Group still regards internationalization and expansion as a key factor in future success; 46% of Group profits were earned abroad in 1999.
