The specialist conference "Flugasche in Beton - Neue Anwendungen" (Fly ash in concrete - new applications) that will be held in Frankfurt on the Main/Germany on 10th April 2008 will provide information about the latest insights into the application of fly ash in concrete. For more than 40 years fly ash has been used as a concrete additive. During this time is has been proved by research and practical experience that concrete can be produced economically with a better workability and durability by using fly ash in a carefully controlled way.
