Second International Conference on the Chemistry of Construction Materials

摘要

The second "International Conference on the Chemistry of Construction Materials" was held in Munich on the campus of the Technical University from 10th to 12th October 2016 with 370 participants from 28 countries. The conference was organized by the Department of Construction Materials Chemistry under the leadership of Prof. Friedlinde Götz-Neunhoeffer and Prof. Johann Plank from the Science Committee of the GDCh (German Chemical Society). Not only the lecture and poster presentations but also the facilities of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and the conference dinner in the Munich Hofbräu Haus offered plenty of opportunities for technical communication and networking. The participants came from the fields of industrial and university research in the areas of construction materials chemistry and technology, the production and application of construction chemistry products and the mortar/plaster and adhesives industries.
