President's Address: Chicago Dental Society Annual Meeting April 5,1892

The following is reprinted from the April 1892 issue of The Dental Review (precursor to the Fortnightly Review, which eventually became the CDS Review). A. W. Harlan, MD, DDS, was editor and Louis Ottofy, DDS, and C. N. Johnson, LDS, DDS, were associate editors. The Dental Review was published by H. D. Justi and Son, for the Dental Review Company. Although the Society held annual meetings which included an educational component, this particular address seems to lay the foundation for what became the world-renowned Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting.
