Cathay and Air China courtship taking time: Confusion reigns supreme on the exact timing of the launch of the big all-cargo joint venture between Air China and Cathay Pacific. While some sources had said the Shanghai-headquartered venture would be up and running by this month, Air China's head left the date up in the air. "The venture is expected to be launched ahead of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo but still requires regulatory approval," Kong Dong, chairman of Beijing-based Air China, told the Shanghai Daily newspaper.
