SEPTEMBER: HOW GOOD IS 'LESS BAD'?

The International Air Transport Association reported total worldwide air freight traffic up 0.6% y-o-y in September. International traffic, the biggest component of the total, was up 0.5%, led by a strong 16.4% gain reported by carriers based in the Middle East. African carriers also reported a gain of 2.6%, but their share of the total is relatively insignificant.
