Recently, the RAC dropped off a 2001 Vauxhall Astra at our workshop. The customer had hit a speed bump too fast and damaged the exhaust. When we got the car on the ramp, we noticed that the centre silencer had borne the brunt of the impact, pulling the whole system back.
