How wonderful that the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct has been added to the World Heritage List of the most precious places in the world - and rightly so.rnThis famous structure now ranks among Stonehenge, The Taj Mahal and The Great Wall Of China as mankind's greatest achievements for all to admire.rnI remember the first time my wife and I crossed the aqueduct while enjoying a wonderful narrowboat holiday on the Llangollen.
