It was most interesting to read the article by Hugh McKnight titled A great French adventure about Blue Line (France) Ltd (CB, May 2009). I was on this trip and a great time it was too!rnDr Charles Collins (mentioned in the article) and a Mr Norman Bonham-Carter were my crew mates aboard one of the Dolphin Cruisers. On the first day we arrived at Bordeaux to find, as we all did, that there were no supplies on board.rnWe were all given strict orders not to leave our boats, as orders were soon to arrive for the great journey to Toulouse. After an hour or two nothing much happened and, as we had not eaten for quite a while, all three of us decided to go AWOL and get some grub. On our return we crept aboard with our shopping to 'face the music', and discovered we had not been missed.
