A legacy to the canals

As Lovers Of the British canals, my wife and I are interested in contributing financially to at least one worthy canal restoration project. However, what little cash we have is barely sufficient to get us across the pond and into a hire boat for our annual canal holiday; all of our net worth is tied up in our property.rnWe have recently begun preparing our wills so that when we meet our demise, whatever value can be extracted from ourrnproperty will be left to beneficiaries of our choosing. Since we have no children or needy relatives, our plans are to leave our estate to two or three public charities.
