At this time of year I always envy those liveaboard boaters who are able to enjoy more than just the summer afloat. August is the month I try to take off, put work and suburban life behind me and enjoy a simpler lifestyle enjoying our wonderful wildlife and countryside.rnHimself is resigned to the idea of travelling with the garden again and has prepared a safe place for the plants to go on the roof which will not interfere with the workings of the boat while on the move; after all, it would be a travesty if my plants were to fall in the water! Anything deemed 'unnecessary' is still banned from the roof or deck of his boat. I might remember this at dinner time...
