Droitwich marina just three weeks after the reopening of the droitwich canals, work began on construction of a new marina. Situated below the three-lock hanbury flight, the 287-berth droitwich spa marina is expected to take nine months to finish. Lock volunteers wanted british waterways is recruiting more volunteer lock-keepers, this time for the grand union and oxford canals. They will staff the flights at marsworth, napton, stoke bruerne, braunston, buckby, hillmorton and the soulbury three locks.
